Website operator and contact

SGT Servers is an informal gaming community run by a private individual. The website operator uses the name SgtHighway. For website privacy enquiries, contact privacy@sgtagency.com. This notice covers the SGT Servers website and its coming-soon page. Game servers and Discord are separate services.

Data and purposes

Loading the website requires technical network data to be processed. Cloudflare Pages delivers the pages and processes information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, routing data and technical information sent by your browser. The purposes are website delivery, security, availability and troubleshooting. The operator’s legal basis is legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): providing a working and secure website. The website has no visitor accounts, forms or membership register, and the operator does not create personal marketing profiles of visitors.

Email enquiries

If you send an email, the operator processes your sender address, message and any attachments to respond. Email is received through Microsoft 365. Ordinary correspondence is based on the legitimate interest in responding; handling statutory data protection requests is based on a legal obligation (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)). Do not send passwords, recovery codes or unnecessary sensitive information. Sending email is voluntary; without contact details we cannot respond.

Cookies and browser storage

The website code does not set cookies or save your language selection or other information in persistent browser storage. There is no advertising or visitor tracking and no third-party embeds. Images and fonts are delivered from the website itself. No consent banner for optional cookies is therefore displayed. Depending on the circumstances and services in use, Cloudflare protection features may use technical security cookies. Their purposes and lifetimes are described in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation. Not all cookies listed there are used on this website.

Technical error reporting

Cloudflare Network Error Logging (NEL) may cause a supporting browser to send Cloudflare the connection error type, requested URL and technical connection information. Reporting is used to troubleshoot connectivity problems. According to Cloudflare, the IP address received with a report is discarded after NEL processing. See Cloudflare error reporting.

Service providers and international processing

Cloudflare, Inc. provides hosting and delivery. Email enquiries are handled in Microsoft 365. Providers and their subprocessors may process data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. EU-only processing is not promised. Transfers use the safeguards applicable under the provider’s agreement, such as an applicable adequacy decision or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Retention and security

The operator does not retain a separate visitor-level traffic log. Cloudflare retains technical data according to the data type and the needs of service delivery, security and legal obligations; its retention criteria are described in its privacy policy. Emails are retained while the matter and necessary follow-up are being handled or for as long as a legal obligation requires. Unnecessary messages are deleted. Provider backup and recovery periods may delay final deletion. The website connection uses HTTPS.

Your rights

The operator does not maintain its own visitor register or a separate visitor-level traffic log. If you have emailed us or wish to ask about personal data processing on this website, contact privacy@sgtagency.com.

We assess requests concerning processing for which we are responsible and, where necessary, work with Cloudflare. Requests concerning data for which Cloudflare acts as an independent controller should be addressed to Cloudflare in accordance with its privacy policy.

Where applicable, you have the right to access your data, request correction, erasure or restriction, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights depend on the processing and statutory conditions. If we cannot identify you from the data we process, we will explain this; you may provide additional information needed to locate the data concerned. We do not collect personal data solely to identify visitors.

We respond to data protection requests without undue delay, normally within one month. If a legally permitted extension is needed, we will explain it and the reasons within one month. You may complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.

Changes

We update this notice when processing changes. Tracking or embeds requiring consent will not be introduced before the necessary consent controls are implemented.
